Fall Break Fine Arts Workshop

***This class has ended.  Please look at our current Furlough Friday Workshop offering and check back for our next week-long workshop taking place Spring Break 2010 (March 15 through 19).

Each day of Fall Break we will be focusing on a different artist along with the medium and technique they practiced.  At the end of each class a completed project will be sent home with your child along with a biography of the artist studied and concepts learned.  Mediums covered may include sculpture, oil pastels, watercolor, block printing, acrylic and papier mache. 

Class I  

Ages: 7-9

Dates:  Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 2009

Time:  12:00pm to 2:00pm

Location:  Kapaa Neighborhood Center

Fee:  $250.00 (Includes all Supplies)

***There are still a few seats available for this class.  If you would like to register your child for only certain days, please contact me as soon as possible.  The fee is $50.00 per day (includes all supplies). 

Class II

Ages: 10-12

Dates:  Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 2009

Time:  2:15 to 4:15pm

Location:  Kapaa Neighborhood Center

Fee:  $250.00 (Includes all Supplies)

Wednesday:  American Abstract Nature Artist, Georgia O'Keefe/Water Color

Thursday:  Organic Modern Sculpture/Plaster of Paris

Friday:  French Fauvist, Henri Matisse/Collage
